Our systems for sessions and ordering have evolved due to COVID distancing guidelines. All portrait purchases are done online using our password-protected galleries.

CHANGE IS GREAT!..

Moving from medium format film to digital was one HUGE change. We went from selling hundreds of wallets per senior - to dozens of digital files for self printing (though we do still sell mostly prints)

Recent changes remove the need for you to sit in front of our 70” TV for two-three hours (average), to you ordering from home at any hour that suits your combined schedules.

One less appointment, one or two less trips to the studio, and more time for me to stay behind the camera creating images for your referrals.

1 - STUDIO = OUTDOOR TOO! - I’ve used this extra time to add a number of on-site, outdoor options at our “Studio Session” price. When you select “Studio Session” you can choose outdoor options. For groups they are a tad restricted to 9a - 10a for ideal lighting but for individuals, I’ve got options throughout the day.

2 - SAVE $250 or MORE ONLINE - Discount tiers will show up in your online gallery.

Videos are in-the-making to simplify this further, but after 10+ years of using this system, we’ve made it as simple as possible. Booking, driving, ordering and return - your time-savings is joined by another great offer.

Desk Portraits are images 10" or smaller on the long edge. See Wall Portraits for larger sizes.

Each image is vacuum-mounted on a durable sintra mounting board, and UV coated for longer life.

Premium options like Canvas, Canvas Gallery Wraps and our MOST POPULAR Metal options come with additional finishes that we can show you in the studio.

Our 70" presentation monitor allows us to show you better details than our online proofing allows.

You can order online, and make an appointment to whittle down your wall portrait if you prefer prior to completing your order.

DIGITAL FILE PRICING

Each pose is a unique “file” a.k.a. “Image-file.”

Each file is color/exposure-corrected and fully retouched.

Retouched image files are then exported to Color AND BW (at no extra charge) as well as a low-res web copy.

Each individual image-file is = $99 (includes retouching and free Black & White versions in Print sizes and web sizes)

We provide you the license to print, plus advice on how to get the 2nd-best results. (we’ve tested all local options, with none matching our professional printer, BUT we’ll get you as close as possible with these files exported to sRGB profile - industry standard for retail labs.)

All digital selections are retouched (as if we are printing them) before delivering as printable Color, Black & White and web versions. We only deliver perfected (retouched) images. Each image is individually edited by our artist, not as is (proof) and NOT batch-processed by editing software. Those automated methods (used by many) change the shape of your face by omitting your unique facial contours. (trust me, I wanted them to work for sake of ease, but the results were too substandard - only benefit - they save photographers time in a chair)

Each file is color-corrected, enhanced from proof samples, retouched for blemishes, stray hair, unfavorable lines (from studying too hard...  : ^)

This option is necessary for your HS Seniors - for yearbook options, but we’ll size it for you to meet your school specs, as well as the full image without cropping.
