I LOVE TO TRAVEL

Sometimes with bike, mostly by car, but ALWAYS with camera, computer and/or journal to record my thoughts and visions.

As a self-made entrepreneur, (opened first studio in ‘96 after years of retail management) I’m somewhat methodical and organized. Not very common right-brainer traits, but the basically - I use my left-brain structure to manage my right. The more efficient I can be with my working hours, the more time to play, VOID of structure.

Essentially, I am a free Spirit that needs all things are in order so that I can let go and BE present (all needs in order) when not working. I love to meet people and enjoy immersing in foreign cultures when I visit.

I’ve been hired to shoot headshots, events & weddings in numerous US states and countries. Three provinces of Canada, The Bahamas, Japan, Australia, Kenya, & New Zealand, & New Zealand and yes - New Zealand. HA! (yes, it was one of those gigs that led me to my Kiwi bride and seamstress extraordinaire Cathy)

My wife lovingly refers to me as Curious George, Google-boy or (eyes rolling) - Cliff (from Cheers) . I much prefer my neologism - Gratitudaholic - Enough so that I own the domain - www.gratitudaholic.com.

In 2013 I arrived for a shoot in Kenya with JUST enough cash reserved for a bucket-list Safari. "Have-to's, before want-to's", The first 10-days were planned to serve my client, the last three days for ME and my bucket-list Safari. By day two, I had emptied my pockets for the cause I was there to serve. It was all-too-easy to part with my once-coveted cash to serve a future for thousands, than my own desire to see exotic animals. I will be back!

If you're looking for a snapshot that just shows what you look like, then you'll save money (on the first session) by shopping for cheap. If you want an authentic portrayal of who you really are... I'd love to be "your guy", and honored to serve you the culmination of my discoveries. (AND consult with you to find ways it can attract you more clicks)

Despite years of study, I was always hungry for more. Pendleton has a glass ceiling for the ambitions I craved, so I sought guidance from the best photographer in town. Louis M. When not behind the camera, writing or traveling, I get to be a loving husband and parent to five kids. (okay, that bit’s 24/7, but cause to work more…)
